WM Building Services were responsible for the mechanical design development and installation of the Redcliffe Quarter residential development in Bristol, comprising 374 private rental apartments and 94 affordable homes, together with 5,900 sq ft of internal amenity space, 21,200 sq ft of external amenity space, and 8,500 sq ft of commercial space.

The scheme is served by Bristol’s district water-source heat pump network, providing low-carbon heating and domestic hot water to all apartments via local heat interface units. LTHW distribution was designed to interface with the district network, ensuring efficient delivery of heating and hot water throughout the development.

Mechanical services included MVHR systems serving residential apartments, domestic hot and cold water services, wet and dry risers, and above-ground drainage systems. Mechanical installations were also delivered to commercial and amenity areas, including gym and resident facilities, ensuring coordinated service integration across all building uses.
